City Hotel

The bedroom was a bit tight, but the mattress was comfortable. The connected room was spacious enough for a family. It was nice to have two bathrooms. One bath had a very large tub and was great for kids. Parking was usually no trouble to find space though it cost a bit. The breakfast was included and was an excellent selection. Eggs, meats, cheeses, cereals, pancakes/crepes, cakes, croissants and more.

Excellent location - walking distance to the town and 10 mins taxi to the airport (25zl). Hotel was very clean and the staff were wonderful, very friendly welcoming and helpful. Nice touches in the room with slippers, a shoe horn, hairdryer and ... A bath! We ate dinner at the restaurant: compliments to the chef for their excellent cooking skills. The highlight of the stay definitely was the breakfast buffet - something for everyone and it was all fresh and varied.

The property location is OK. However, the hotel parking is terrible. no space for my car in front of the hotel because the city taxis occupy the hotel parking lot. The hotel renting the public parking lot for hotel’s guests. The signs to get to this parking is misleading, you do not have anyone to ask. The parking lot is scary for a woman to be there.

I have stayed in the City Hotel over 10 times. It has very good links to the public transport network. For example the 52 bus which stops outside the hotel, goes to the zoo and botanical gardens.

Stayed here several times and never disappointed. This stay was up to usual standard. Very good hotel in an excellent location, great WiFi, excellent staff and superb breakfast. Rooms are spacious, clean and modern.
